My favourite YouTube Beauty Guru's

In my spare time, there is nothing I like to do more than relax and watch some beauty videos on YouTube. They put me in such a good mood and two in particular encouraged me to start this blog and without them I would have never had the confidence to start writing. I love most YouTubers but my top five would have to be: Zoella (Zoe), Sprinkleofglitr (Louise), Laurenbeautyy (Lauren), Tanya Burr and Fleurdeforce (Fleur). All these girls are absolutely brilliant in their own way and watching there videos puts me in a great mood. I had wanted to started a blog for a long time before I plucked up the courage to actually start writing this since English and Photography were things I loved. After coming across two particular beautiful ladies, Zoe and Louise, on YouTube one day, I got the confidence to start my own blog after seeing that so many people had an interest in fashion and beauty related topics, which is what I had wanted to base my blog on. I would highly recommend checking out these girls, you'll regret it if you don't!

Topshop Lipstick Review

If you haven't guessed yet, I'm just a tincy bit obsessed with Topshop make-up. Just a smidge not much.....
I popped into Topshop yet again and picked up some new lipsticks. I am officaly in love. Forget all the high-end lipsticks, Topshop is the way to go. These lipsticks are so pigmented and they last a really long time. When going to wash off, they don't make removing them difficult and all over they are just an absolute dream. They feel amazing on your lips and they don't make them feel tight, but moisturised. The shades I picked up were 'Tease' and 'Beguiled'. I was going for something a little diffrent from my everyday red and I saw these as the perfect choice. After picking these colors up, I'm going to pop in yet again next weekend and pick up an orange shade and a hot-pink which should be interesting to see how they turn out. I highly recommend these lipsticks, actually I highly recommend the whole Topshop make-up range. I might not be a huge fan of the brushes but the beauty products themselves are just to die for!

Getting Fit for Summer!

So recently I decided I would try and tone up for Summer since I'm going to Marbella for three weeks in July. I cracked out the dusty Adidas runners from the back of my wardrobe and called up my best friend and we went on a run in the Phoenix Park. To say it knocked the wind out of me would be an understatement! It made me realise how unfit I actually am. So I woke up this morning and downloaded a bunch of apps from Nike onto my phone and went on another run. I also started the 'Squat Challenge' which is so difficult. My thighs are in agony! My goal is not to lose weight but to just tone up my stomach and to do that you need to put the effort in! There is no point complaining about your body and doing nothing about it. Just slip on your runners, grab your earphones and go on a jog! Call a friend to go with you if you don't want to go on your own. You feel amazing afterwards as well so that's an even bigger bonus as well as getting in shape.

Topshop Nail Polishes

From L to R: 'Beach Shack', 'Mannequin', 'Hidden Treasure', 'War Paint'.

Last week, I was in London and I made a cheeky stop into Topshop on Oxford Street. Anybody that has ever been in there and is a fashion and beauty nut (like me!) would have been in absolute awe! The nail polishe collection was unbelivable. I wish I had gotten a picture for you. While I was there, I picked up four new polishes since there was an offer of two for £8. After much debating, I picked up my four favourite shades. From left to right: 'Beach Shack', 'Mannequin', 'Hidden Treasure' and 'War Paint'. To say I'm a fan of these nail polishes would be an understatement. These shades are so unbelivably pigmented and the range of colours you can get from the Topshop collection is amazing. My favourite out of thesefour would be 'Beach Shack' as it is such a nice shade for the Spring/Summer season. When a top-coat is applied onto these polishes, they look perfect. The extra shine honestly makes them look like they were painted in a salon! I would hugely recommend going in and picking up these polishes, especially while the two for £8 offer is on, because you would honestly regret not going in and getting these. I'm definitely popping into Topshop at the weekend to pick up some new shades which I will also review for you guys!

If you hadn't noticed I got a new camera! It is the Canon EOS 450d, incase you were wondering. I'm still getting used to it so bear with me until I know how to use it!

London

It was my birthday on Thursday and as my present I got to fly over to Bristol to visit my family and then go into London on the train for the first time! I had an absolutely amazing time and I even got to meet Lauren Pope off The Only Way Is Essex! Me and my cousin, Lauren , went shopping on Oxford Street, Regent Street and New Bond Street. We got to go to places such as Selfridges, Topshop, Victorias Secret and The Nike Store. Hands down my favourite shop was Abercrombie. The boys in there were ridiculously good looking as you'll see in the pictures! I'm going back to Bristol over Summer since its such an amazing place and I met some really nice people!

Ghana

Since a young age, something I've always wanted to do has been orphanage work! I was always that one person in a group who was into doing stuff like that and this year I decided to look into it. I was lucky enough to stumble across a charity group called IVHQ. They are a group, located in New Zealand who help in under privileged areas by sending out hundreds of volunteers each year. I decided I would apply to help in a children's orphanage near Accra, Ghana. I waited anxiously for an e-mail to arrive and after two days I received a reply. I had been accepted for a six week volunteer programme to work with children between the ages of three and sixteen. I am so happy that I've decided to do this and IVHQ have been great with helping me prepare for the trip and it is honestly one of the best decisions I could have ever made! If you are looking to volunteer overseas I would really recommend checking out IVHQ! They are brilliant! I cannot wait to go and start in the orphanage. As I've said before its good to say yes for a change!
